Service Delivery Policy

Effective date: 28-09-2026

Copenhagen Weddings provides professional assistance to couples wishing to get married in Denmark. This policy explains how our services are delivered and what may affect the time needed to complete your order.

1. How Our Services Are Delivered

Our services are primarily delivered remotely through email, document review, individual guidance and communication with the relevant authorities, depending on the package purchased.

We do not ship a physical product when you purchase a wedding assistance package. Any physical document handling or delivery must be included in the purchased service or agreed separately.

2. After You Place Your Order

You will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.

We will then contact you with the next steps and explain which information and documents we need to begin your case.

An order confirmation confirms your purchase. It does not confirm approval of your marriage application or a wedding date.

Please check your spam folder if you do not receive our emails, and contact us if your email address needs to be corrected.

3. When Work Begins

We begin working on your case once payment has been received, the information needed for the relevant stage is available, and any required consent to start during the withdrawal period has been obtained.

If you would like us to begin within the 14-day withdrawal period, we will ask for your express consent before starting.

Further details are available in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. What Your Service Includes

The scope of our work is determined by the service description and any additional arrangements confirmed in writing when you purchase.

Depending on your package, this may include document guidance, reviewing your documents, preparing and submitting your application, communicating with the Danish Agency of Family Law, or assisting with ceremony bookings.

Tasks not included in your package remain your responsibility unless we agree otherwise. Any additional services and charges will be agreed with you before the additional work begins.

5. Processing and Completion Times

The time needed to complete your service depends on your circumstances, the completeness of your documents, authority processing times and municipality availability.

Any timeframe we provide is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Purchasing a service does not guarantee approval by a particular date or availability at a specific town hall.

Requests for additional documents or information may extend the process.

We recommend waiting until your ceremony has been confirmed by the relevant municipality before making non-refundable travel or accommodation bookings.

6. Your Responsibilities

Please provide accurate information, clear copies of the requested documents and timely responses to questions.

You are responsible for supplying any required originals and following the municipality’s instructions for attendance and document checks.

If essential information or documents are missing, we may need to pause work until we receive them. Please tell us promptly if your circumstances or wedding plans change.

7. Physical Document Delivery

If your purchased service includes delivery of physical documents, such as an apostilled marriage certificate, we will confirm the delivery arrangements with you.

Any delivery charges not included in your service price will be disclosed before you agree to them.

Delivery estimates depend on document processing, the destination and the postal or courier service. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact us if your documents do not arrive as expected.
