Inside, there are two possible rooms:
- A smaller, more intimate room
- A larger ceremony/conference room
The room used depends on the day’s schedule, but both provide a comfortable and relaxed environment for your wedding.
There is also a large free car park directly outside, making logistics easy for you and your guests.
The Ceremony – Flexible & Personal
Your ceremony in Stevns is short and meaningful, following the standard Danish civil format:
- A brief speech by the registrar
- Exchange of “I do”
- Optional rings
- Signing of documents
If you want something more unique, you can choose to have your ceremony outside the Town Hall.
For an additional fee (approx. €150), a registrar can perform your wedding at a special location of your choice within Stevns — creating a truly unforgettable experience.
Wedding Days & Availability
Weddings at Stevns Town Hall take place on:
- Tuesdays
- Thursdays
- First Saturday of each month
May – August:
- Weddings are held every Saturday (10:00 – 14:00)
Witnesses
- Provided: Thursdays & first Saturday of the month
- NOT provided: Tuesdays & additional summer Saturdays
If you choose a day without provided witnesses, you must bring two witnesses (18+) with you.
Documents
You must present your:
- Passport
- Residency permit/visa (if applicable)
Documents are checked on the morning of your wedding at the Town Hall.

- Public transport: 1h 45min – 2h 10min
From Hamburg:
